Our Technicians are highly qualified with a minimum of 6 – 25 years trade experience so you can always be confident about the ability of the technician who arrives to carry out the Replacement.
We are a small but extremely professional AGR concept which allows a better and closer working relationship with insurance companies, dealerships and customers.
We only use specialised, non-marking, hardened nylon removal tools for the ultimate in protection of delicate vehicle surfaces.
We use the very latest and best, handpicked AGR tooling from the industry’s leading companies.
Smart-Tech AGR highly recommend only using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) glass and components on all late models fitted with the latest in driver aid technology.
We will work onsite at an authorised dealership so all necessary resets and recalibrations are carried out using only genuine manufacturer’s diagnosis and recalibration equipment before the vehicle leaves the premises to be driven on public roads.
Working onsite at the dealership eliminates accidental damage to the very expensive, hi tech windscreens which can be caused in transit and storage.
Smart-Tech AGR only use OEM approved Sika products for the cleaning, preparation and bonding of surfaces and glass components and we assign individual Sika Polyurethane tubes to each Replacement.
One continuous polyurethane bead is used, starting and finishing mid-centre at the base of the windscreen. A butt join is used to close the bead correctly in line with the product manufacturer’s guidelines.
Our aim is for a turnaround of 2/3 hours including vehicles that require recalibration where we work in partnership with the dealership and their workshops schedule.
Two Technicians are always allocated for each AGR. Technician 1 is the lead Replacement Technician solely there to carry out the Replacement. Technician 2 is responsible for the Smart-Tech AGR TOTAL CARE
procedures, Pre-work inspection (PWI), digital images, vehicle protection, work area, Final Check, paper work and customer communication.
Smart-Tech AGR use two Technicians for the extremely important stage of lifting the windscreen into position within the windscreen aperture to ensure accuracy and the perfect alignment.
